The City of Cisco has started construction on the 2017 Water Treatment Plant Improvements through the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) administered by the Texas Water Development Board, the Texas Department of Agriculture Community Development Block Grant Disaster Funds and the Emergency Community Water Assistance Grant through the United States Department of Agriculture.

Funded in part by DWSRF, the project includes the construction of the Water Treatment Plant below the Cisco Dam serving the entire City of Cisco.

Additionally, the City of Cisco will construct a new Wastewater Treatment Plant through the Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) administered by the Texas Water Development Board.  The new Wastewater Treatment Plant will be constructed near the existing Wastewater Treatment Plant and will serve the entire City of Cisco.
